Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Thorns (Al-Masad). Sent down in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
