Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
