Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
