Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Almighty God's Truth.
