Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5
