Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
