Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
