Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
