Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
