Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
