Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
