Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
