Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
