Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 from the evil of the darkness when it gathers 3 “And from the evil of the witches who blow into knots.” 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
