Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, 1 From the evil of that which He hath created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 And from the evil of the blowers in knots 4 And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
