Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 4 and from the evil of the envious ones. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
