Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day 1 From the evil of that which He created; 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 4 And from the evil of an envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
