People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Say thou: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind, 1 the King of people, 2 The God of mankind, 3 "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), 4 Who suggests evil thoughts to the hearts of men -- 5 From among the jinn and mankind." 6

True are the words of God the Almighty.
