O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me. 40 And believe in that which I reveal, confirming that which ye possess already (of the Scripture), and be not first to disbelieve therein, and part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Do you admonish others to do good and forget this yourselves? Yet you read the Book. Will you not then understand? 44 And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. 45 Who know that they shall meet their Lord and that they shall return to Him. 46
