Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! Just recall to mind My favour wherewith I blessed you fulfil your covenant with Me and I shall fulfil My covenant with you, and fear Me alone. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it. 42 Establish the Salat, pay the Zakat and bow down before Me along with those who bow down. 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. 45 who know with certainty that they shall meet their Sustainer and that unto Him they shall return. 46
