Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in that which I reveal, confirming that which ye possess already (of the Scripture), and be not first to disbelieve therein, and part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Would you order people to do good deeds and forget to do them yourselves even though you read the Book? Why do you not think? 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
