Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 Believe in My revelations (Quran) that confirms what I revealed to you (about Prophet Muhammad in your Scripture). Do not be the first ones to deny it nor sell My revelations for a small price, but have fear of Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]! Have you then no sense? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and verily it is hard, except unto the meek. 45 who realize that ultimately they shall meet their Lord and shall return to Him. 46
