Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, remember the favours I have bestowed upon you, and fulfil the covenant that you made with Me. I shall fulfil the covenant I made with you. Fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have sent down which verifies what is already with you; and do not be the first to deny it, nor part with it for little gain; and beware of Me. 41 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth. 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and verily it is hard, except unto the meek. 45 Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him. 46
