O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me. 40 And believe in that which I reveal, confirming that which ye possess already (of the Scripture), and be not first to disbelieve therein, and part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer). 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 And seek help in patience and prayer. For it is heavy, except to the humble, 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
