1/2 Hizb 9
< random >
Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book was given? They believe in baseless superstitions and taghut (false deities), and say about the unbelievers that they are better guided than those who believe. 51 Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed; and he whom Allah curses - never will you find for him a helper. 52 Or have they a share in the dominion? Then in that case they would not give mankind even a Naqira (speck on the back of a date-stone). 53 Or are they jealous of mankind because of that which Allah of His bounty hath bestowed upon them? For We bestowed upon the house of Abraham (of old) the Scripture and wisdom, and We bestowed on them a mighty kingdom. 54 Then some of them believed in it, and some turned away from it; yet sufficient is Hell, the flaming Fire! 55 Those who disbelieve Our verses We will roast them in a Fire! As often as their skins are cooked, We exchange their skin with another, in order that they taste the punishment. Surely, Allah is Mighty, the Wise. 56 And those who believed and did good deeds, We shall soon admit them into Gardens beneath which rivers flow abiding in it forever; in it for them are pure wives and We shall admit them into places of plentiful shade. 57 ۞ God commands you to return that which had been entrusted to you to the rightful owners. Be just when passing judgment among people. God's advice is the most noble. He sees and hears everything. 58 O you who have attained to faith! Pay heed unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle and unto those from among you who have been entrusted with authority; and if you are at variance over any matter, refer it unto God and the Apostle, if you [truly] believe in God and the Last Day. This is the best [for you,] and best in the end. 59

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
