We have sent down to you the Book containing the truth, in whose light you should judge among the people as God has shown you, and do not be a contender for deceivers. 105 and pray forgiveness of God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 106 And argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Verily, Allah does not like anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime. 107 They try to hide from (men), but they cannot hide from God who is with them at night when they discuss such matters as He does not approve; but what they do is well within the compass of God. 108 Ho! ye are they who pleaded for them in the life of the world. But who will plead with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will then be their defender? 109 And whoever does evil or wrongs his own soul and then seeks forgiveness from Allah, will find Allah Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. 111 Whosoever earns a fault or a sin and casts it upon the innocent, indeed, he bears the slander and a clear sin. 112
