Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate. 105 But seek the forgiveness of Allah; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 And do not argue on behalf of those who betray themselves, surely, Allah does not love the sinful traitor. 107 They seek to hide from men and seek not to hide from Allah. He is with them when by night they hold discourse displeasing unto Him. Allah ever surroundeth what they do. 108 Ho! ye are they who pleaded for them in the life of the world. But who will plead with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will then be their defender? 109 He who does evil or wrongs himself and then asks forgiveness of Allah will find that Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 110 And whoever earns sin, his earnings will only be against himself; and Allah is the Knowing, Wise. 111 And anyone who commits an offence or a sin, then charges an innocent person with it, shall certainly bear the guilt of a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
