We have sent the Book down to you with the truth so that you may judge among mankind by means of what God has shown you. And do not be an advocate for the treacherous. 105 And seek the Forgiveness of Allah, certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 And plead not on behalf of (people) who deceive themselves. Lo! Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do. 108 You defend them in this life but who will defend them against God on the Day of Judgment and who will be their attorney? 109 And whosoever worketh an ill or wrongeth his own soul, and thereafter beggeth forgiveness of Allah shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. 111 One who makes a mistake or commits a sin and ascribes it to an innocent person, he only burdens himself with slander and a grave sin. 112
