Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate. 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 106 And do not dispute on behalf of those who betray themselves; surely God loves not the guilty traitor. 107 They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah, and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah, of what they do, encompassing. 108 Ha, there you are; you have disputed on their behalf in the present life; but who will dispute with God on their behalf on the Resurrection Day, or who will be a guardian for them? 109 Yet anyone who does evil or wrongs his own soul and then asks God for forgiveness will find God forgiving and merciful. 110 He who commits sin does so against his own soul. God is all knowing and wise. 111 And whosoever earns a fault or a sin and then casts it upon the innocent, thereby has laid upon himself calumny and manifest sin. 112
