Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous. 105 and seek forgiveness from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate. 106 Do not defend those who deceive themselves; God does not love those who are treacherous and sinful. 107 They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do. 108 Pay heed! It is you people who argued on their behalf in the life of this world; so who will fight on their behalf with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their pleader? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 for he who commits a sin, commits it only to his own hurt; and God is indeed all-knowing, wise. 111 And whoever earns a fault or a sin and then throws it on to someone innocent, he has indeed burdened himself with falsehood and a manifest sin. 112
