Behold, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is they who are being deluded by Him. When they rise to Prayer, they rise reluctantly, and only to be seen by men. They remember Allah but little. 142 Wavering between this and that; neither for this nor for that and whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him thou wilt never find a way. 143 O you who believe! do not take the unbelievers for friends rather than the believers; do you desire that you should give to Allah a manifest proof against yourselves? 144 The hypocrites will be in the lowest place of the Fire, you will not find a helper for them. 145 Except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their religion to Allah, these are with the believers, and Allah will grant the believers a mighty reward. 146 Why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And Allah is the Multiplier of rewards, Knowing 147 ۞ God does not love the utterance of evil words except in the case of someone who has been wronged. God hears all and knows all. 148 If you do good openly or in secret or pardon an evil, surely God is All-pardoning, All-powerful. 149 Those who deny Allah and His messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": And (those who) wish to take a course midway,- 150 it is they, they who are truly denying the truth: and for those who deny the truth We have readied shameful suffering. 151 For those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, and do not differentiate between them, We shall certainly give them their reward.
