The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
