The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Guide us the straight way. 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
