In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
