The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 2 The Merciful, the Compassionate 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
