The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
