The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Merciful, the Compassionate 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 the path of those You have blessed; not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
