The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 the path of those You have blessed; not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
