We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 but the leading men of his people said, "Truly, we see that you are obviously lost in error!" 60 Said [Noah]: "O my people! There is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 61 "I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: Sincere is my advice to you, and I know from Allah something that ye know not. 62 What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you? 63 In response they denied him, so We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs; indeed they were a blind group. 64
