We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 In response they denied him, so We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs; indeed they were a blind group. 64
