▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

The unbelievers should not think that they can really escape Us or that they can never be defeated. 59 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline towards peace, you too lean towards it, and trust Allah; indeed He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 61 And if they intend to deceive you-- then surely Allah is sufficient for you; He it is Who strengthened you with His help and with the believers 62 And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! God is sufficient for you and the believers who follow you. 64
