Is it not (the case) that Allah's promise is assuredly true? Yet most of them understand not. 55 He is the giver of life and death, and to Him you will return. 56 O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers. 57 Say, "In the grace and mercy of God let them rejoice, for these are better than the worldly riches which they hoard." 58 Say: "Have you ever considered all the means of sustenance which God has bestowed upon you from on high - and which you thereupon divide into 'things forbidden' and 'things lawful? Say: "Has God given you leave [to do this] - or do you, perchance, attribute your own guesswork to God?" 59 What will they think, those who invent falsehoods about God, on the Day of Resurrection? God is bountiful to men: yet most of them are not grateful. 60
