We gave the people of Israel a settled abode, and bestowed good things on them to eat and use. So they did not differ until they came to have knowledge. Your Lord will assuredly settle their differences on the Day of Resurrection. 93 If you are in any doubt concerning what We have sent down to you, then question those who have read the Book before you: the Truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of the doubters -- 94 Nor be of those who reject the signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of those who perish. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 not even if every Sign were to come to them -- until they see the painful punishment. 97 Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 98 And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers? 99 And no soul can accept faith except by the command of Allah; and He sets the punishment upon those who do not have sense. 100 Say, "Look at whatever [exists] in heavens and on earth." But signs and warnings do not benefit the unbelievers. 101 So do they watch and wait for aught but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: 'Then watch and wait; I shall be with you watching and waiting.' 102 Then shall We save Our messengers and the believers, in like manner (as of old). It is incumbent upon Us to save believers. 103
