And assuredly We sent Musa with Our signs and a manifest warranty. 96 To Firon and his chiefs, but they followed the bidding of Firon, and Firon's bidding was not right-directing. 97 He will go before his people on the Day of Resurrection and will lead them to the Fire for watering-place. Ah, hapless is the watering-place (whither they are) led. 98 And a curse followed them in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection; what a wretched gift is what they received. 99 Such were the stories of the nations of the past which We tell to you, (Muhammad). Some of them were destroyed and some of them have survived. 100 We did not wrong them; it is rather they who wronged themselves. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin. 101 Such is the Seizure of your Lord when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful, and severe. 102 In this there is, certainly, a lesson for those who fear the torment of the next life in which all people will be gathered together 103 And We defer it not but to a term determined. 104 On the Day when it comes, no person shall speak except by His (Allah's) Leave. Some among them will be wretched and (others) blessed. 105 Now as for those who [by their deeds] will have brought wretchedness upon themselves, [they shall live] in the fire, where they will have [nothing but] moans and sobs [to relieve their pain,] 106 so long as the heavens and earth abide, save as thy Lord will; surely thy Lord accomplishes what He desires. 107 ۞ And as for those who shall be blest, they shall be in the Garden, as abiders therein so long as the heavens and the earth remain, save as thy Lord may will; a gift unending. 108 Be not then in doubt as to what these men worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before (them): but verily We shall pay them back (in full) their portion without (the least) abatement. 109
