The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book whereof there is no doubt, is a guidance unto the God-fearing. 2 Who believe in the Ghaib and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e. give Zakat, spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah's Cause - Jihad, etc.]. 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 As for those who have rejected (these things), it is all the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they are not going to believe. 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and ears; their sight is dimmed and for them is a great punishment. 7
