The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif Lam Mim. 1 This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah - 2 the pious who believe in the unseen, attend to prayer, give in charity part of what We have granted them; 3 those who believe in the revelation sent down to you and in what was sent before you, and firmly believe in the life to come -- 4 It is they who are on guidance from their Lord; and they are the successful. 5 Those who deny your message will not believe whether you warn them or not 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them. 7
