O People who Believe! Seek help from patience and prayer; indeed Allah is with those who patiently endure. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 who, when calamity befalls them, say: "Verily, unto God do we belong and verily, unto Him we shall return." 156 It is they who will receive blessings and mercy from God and who follow the right guidance. 157 ۞ Indeed Safa and Marwah are among the emblems of Allah: it is, therefore, no sin for him, who performs Hajj or `Umrah to the House of AIIah, to run between the two hills; and Allah knows and appreciates him who does any good with a willing heart. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving -- upon them shall rest the curse of God and the angels, and of men altogether, 161 In this state shall they abide; [and] neither will their suffering, be lightened, nor will they be granted respite. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
