Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 It is they upon whom their Sustainer's blessings and grace are bestowed, and it is they, they who are on the right path! 157 ۞ Safah and Marwah are the waymarks of Allah. Whoever performs the pilgrimage to the House or the visit, there shall be no guilt on him to circumambulate between both of them. And whoever volunteers good, Allah is Thankful, the Knower. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 However, I shall accept the repentance of those of them who repent for their sins, reform their manners, and preach the truth; I am All-forgiving and All-merciful. 160 Lo! Those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers; on them is the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined. 161 Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite. 162 Our Lord is the only Lord. There is no God but He, the Beneficent and Merciful. 163
