۞ Is he then who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like him who is blind? Only those possessed of understanding will mind, 19 Those who fulfill the covenant of Allah and do not break the contract, 20 Who keep together what God has ordained held together, and fear their Lord and dread the hardship of the Reckoning, 21 Patient men, desiring the Face of their Lord, establish their prayers, and spend of what We have given them in private and in public; and who ward off evil with good. Theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode. 22 They shall enter the Gardens of Eden together with the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their descendants. From every gate the angels will come to them, 23 "Peace be upon you, because you have persevered!" How excellent, then, this fulfilment in the hereafter! 24 As for those who break the covenant of God, after having confirmed it, who cut asunder what God has commanded to be joined and spread corruption in the land, a curse shall be laid on them; they shall have an evil abode. 25 Allah enlargeth the provision for whomsoever He willeth and, stinteth. And they exult in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world, by the side of the Hereafter, is only a Passing enjoyment. 26
