We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
